The first expansion pack “Deep Impact” for Starcomet Online was feature complete this weekend (11. May 2014) and will be submitted the stores the following week (Update: will be a bit delayed due to me having the flu, and a lot to do at work).
Get ready to expand the galaxies you visit in both offline mode and online multiplayer – giving the game a total of 6 galaxies that you can explore!
With the update comes the support for Windows Phone, so now – any player on Windows 8 or Windows Phone 8 can enjoy the FREE game.
W H A T ’ S N E W ?
THE CINDERSTORM GALAXY
This distant galaxy has entered a supernova stage, and thus, is very heated. The galaxy was once the home of the desert people, but due to the extreme temperatures that roam the galaxy, it became uninhabitable – its people either died or have escaped to another galaxy.
What remains are ancient ruins, treasures, temples and sand. It’s up to you if you want to explore this world, and find what it hides!
MULTIPLAYER
Multiplayer is now simpler for new players, they don’t need to have a lot of experience to be able to compete.
Matchmaking has been added so low-level players compete aginst each other on simpler maps. Once players are over level 10, they will be able to join the more complex levels.
A total of 25 multiplayer levels now exist (this will ofc. expand with the next expansion pack)
CUSTOMIZATION
An important aspect of the game is to be able to change how your comet looks. Therefore, we are happy to give you 20+ new customization options!
These are a combination of artifacts that can totally change how your comet looks, and can give it a personality, a little piece of history or culture, and new colors and shapes to control and define how you look.
There are millions of different customization combinations available with the current release!
NEW ARTIFACTS
New artifacts are added to the game. This includes artifacts located on Cinderstorm, and a few from the existing galaxies.

NEW COLORS
A new set of colors has been added to the game, representing the heated world of Cinderstorm.
NEW SHAPES
A new set of shapes has been added to the game, also representing the heated world of Cinderstorm.
